Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community for help with your complaint of internal heat in your belly.

Making a diagnosis and suggesting treatment is beyond our capabilities. You need to call and schedule an appointment with your primary care physician.

Are you male or female? How old are you? Do you have any underlying medical conditions? Do you have a family history of any medical conditions? Are you taking any prescribed and/or over the counter medications? What kind of diet or what types of food do you eat, such as fatty or spicy?

Gnawing or burning ache or pain (indigestion) in your upper abdomen that may become either worse or better with eating is one symptom of gastritis. Gastritis describes a group of conditions with one thing in common: inflammation of the lining of the stomach.

Anonymous, you could have gastritis or something else. That is why you must be examined by a physician, in person.

Regards,
Maryann
