Hello Andrea7787,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.

You can believe the results of the two blood pregnancy tests, if then were done at the correct time.

A blood pregnancy test is more accurate than a urine test. Levels of hCG can be detected in blood about 11 days following conception.

Since you had two blood tests done, and have the diagnosis of PCOS, did you speak with your gynecologist? What did he or she say?

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrine system disorder among women of reproductive age. Women with PCOS may have enlarged ovaries that contain small collections of fluid, which are called follicles, located in each ovary as seen during an ultrasound exam.

Infrequent or prolonged menstrual periods, excess hair growth, acne, and obesity can all occur in women with polycystic ovary syndrome. In adolescents, infrequent or absent menstruation may raise suspicion for the condition.

Andrea7787, PCOS may be the reason you have not had a period since December and the reason that period lasted only three days.

Please speak with your gynecologist about this, so that you understand what is going on with your body.

Regards,
Maryann
