Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. I am glad you reached out to us with your concern, and glad to hear that you will be using protection in the future.

Pr ejaculate fluid itself does not contain sperm. If the male has had a receent ejacualtion, like from masturbating, some sperm can remain in his urethra. That is the tube through which urine and semen pass. Once he urinates, any stow away sperm is flushed out.

Your partner did not ejaculate, so that reduced the risk of becoming pregnant.

You had two normal periods after unprotected sex, which proved that you did not become pregnant.

If you have not had unprotected sex since the beginning of January, pregnancy is not the reason you are late.

How light was the light bleeding? Have you been exercising a lot more this month? That could be the cause of the lighter and shorter period this month.

Regards,
Maryann
