How old are you? Have you had a history or regular or irregular menstrual cycles? Are you taking any medication, including herbal supplements? Do you suffer with any medical conditions?
If you are in your late 40s or early 50s, this change in the length of your menstrual cycle may be a sign of perimenopause. Levels of estrogen and progesterone rise and fall unevenly and this can lead to irregular periods.
