Getting a good night's sleep is beneficial for good health and according to WebMD, *Lack of sleep can increase insulin resistance, a risk factor for the development of type 2 diabetes and heart disease.* So, while it may not (directly) interfere or cause heart issues, it can increase a certain risk factor for it.
