Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community with your questions.

About 60 percent of women have early pregnancy symptoms by the time they're 6 weeks along in their pregnancies, and roughly 90 percent have them by the time they're 8 weeks.

Classic early signs of pregnancy include tender, swollen breasts, fatigue, implantation bleeding, nausea with or without vomiting, food aversions or cravings, mood swings, headaches, constipation, and faintness.

Levels of hCG, which is the hormone produced during pregnancy, can be detected in urine about 12 to 14 days following conception and in blood about 11 days. It is wise to wait until your period is late by at least one week before testing.

Ovulation happens mid cycle. The first day of your period is day one of the new cycle. Count fourteen days and that is roughly the time of ovulation. For you, that would be day 14.

Regards,
Maryann
