Even though a CPAP is thought of for just obstructive sleep apnea, it is also used as a treatment for central sleep apnea, so a continuous flow of air is produced. Are you still on a CPAP, even though your other form of sleep apnea has been cleared?
There are other devices like a ASV (Adaptive servo-ventilation) that customize themselves to your own breathing patterns but also allowing a smooth flow of air.
Medications may also help.
