I'm very sorry this happened, bee stings are quite painful.
You're certainly having a reaction to the sting but it sounds like a normal one. A moderate reaction is pain along the site that then increases and swelling that generally increases the day after the sting. The increased itching is also normal. You did the right thing by going to urgent care. Today (if it's your third day) should see the swelling decrease although you might itch for a while longer.
If you feel any kind of tightness to your throat, a heavy chest or any kind of difficulty breathing, present to the ER immediately. Otherwise you should be on the upswing.
