HERWriter Guide

Hi Pandora

Thank you for writing and I am very sorry you're going through this. This is some serious bleeding and may require surgical removal, as you mentioned.
I understand you can't use birth control now, since you have a history of DVT. There is always a risk of clots when taking birth control so you don't need even more risk.

What you need is insurance or money. Pandora can you sign up for Medicaid? Do you qualify? If not, could start a GoFundMe for help?
If you can't, go to Planned Parenthood. They offer help on a sliding scale, based on your income. Also google for free clinics near you or call your nearest hospitals - especially county or state hospitals - who can offer care for a very low price. County or state hospitals cannot turn you away due to an inability to pay and you can work out a payment plan - these are generally quite fair.

It's a travesty that someone like you has to go through this kind of physical pain with no diagnosis or treatment plan due to cost. Please try the above suggestions. And please stay in touch with us.
Best,
Susan
