Low blood pressure or hypotension is most regularly defined as any reading lower than 90 mmHg over 60 mmHg.
That said, most doctors will only treat low blood pressure as a problem if a person has symptoms of low blood pressure (dizziness, feeling foggy, tiredness, feeling faint, paleness, etc).
For many people, chronic low blood pressure can be effectively treated with diet and lifestyle changes. Depending on the cause of your symptoms, your doctor may tell you to increase your blood pressure by eating a diet higher in salt and drinking lots of (non-alcoholic) fluids.
