is the colection of dead skin cells around the hair follicles, glycolic acid or lactic acid - two treatments also commonly used to exfoliate the face - are often helpful. Some people use rougher exfoliation methods, but those often only irritate the skin and leave it even more red. Supplements of vitamin A are also said to help. I take additional vitamin A because I tend toward acne, and it definitely helps my skin overall.

I had a huge issue with KP when I was younger, but it went away as I got older. But I have so much sun damage from my young and stupid days that I am now using all the skincare I use on my face on my arms and decolette, too. It has made a noticeable difference, though it is a little costly!
