I was put on Livial 2 years ago for hot flashes. I took it for a week and felt so Awful! Felt like I had the worst flu ever - could barely get out of bed & whole body ached. As I felt worse & worse all that week and knew I hadn't been around anyone with the flu, I realized the only thing different was taking the drug. I believe the drug was the tipping point that caused adrenal insufficiency which I'm still trying to recover from. Now on bioidentical hormones (estrogene & progesterone) which control hot flashes very well.
