My Dr has just prescribed me to take Livial. I had my uterus and ovaries removed 5 years back. I took Premarin for 4 years continuously and faced no problem. I was told by a doc to discontinue it as it has bad side effects. For 7 months I was without any estrogen tablets and i faced many problems as hot flashes, frequent urination, weakness in the knee, vaginal dryness and even vaginal ache. I have just started taking premarin again and I feel better But as Livial has no side effects as a doc says, and I have just began taking it instead of premarin.....I am a working woman, a college teacher and I want to keep fit at least till my retirement at 60...I hope there is no harm in continuing to take this for another 5 years. I would like to get suggestion from a doc or someone experienced.
