Before getting my gall bladder removed I was miserable with GERD and acid reflux and could not lay down without dicomfort at night. After it got removed, the symptoms continue but not as frequently. Then I read somewhere that a natural, simple and inexpensive drink would help. I tried it along with some modifications to my diet (elimintated gluten filled foods that tend to ferment) and the symptoms disappeared. They only come back when I eat gluten. So here is the recipe:
2 TBSP Apple Cider Vinager
1 TBSP desert honey
1/4 tsp baking soda
8 oz. of water.
If your acid reflux gets you a feeling of a raw throat this will definately sooth it. Drink plenty of water too, my doctor told me that water cuts the acidity of the regurgitated foods.
