Yes! It is so strange you shared this because my husband and I recently discovered something 'new' in our community. About two weeks ago, the tennis courts we normally play at were being used for a tournament. Because no courts were available, we decided to head over to some other courts to play. On the way over, my husband looked down a side street, saying he noticed some different courts at the end of the road and decided to explore.
Sure enough, at the end of the street was a beautiful tennis court elevated above a lake. We were aware of the lake but had never seen it from this angle. It looked almost 'European' and the view was amazing. After our game (an embarrassing slaughter -- he won) we sat out on a bench behind the courts and just watched people cruise by in their boats as the sun went down. What a great experience. Good for the body and the soul.
We couldn't believe we lived in the area for six -- almost seven years -- and had no idea ... Who knew?
