Man! 72 degrees at 6 am! I would love that! My challenge here in New York is forcing myself to get out and go biking even though it is usually still in the 50s - even though it's summer.
The key is to make the decision ahead of time, and then just follow through with it - regardless of how we feel in the moment. Our natural inclination is to stay put, so our minds will always come up with a way to avoid getting started. The irony is that the getting started is the thing that abolishes resistance.
By the way, I've wanted to try and take up running again, but I have a perpetual IT band problem. I heard that building up my adductors will help. Can you give me some tips for a good starter training program? I haven't run outside in a couple years, because of the IT thing.
