When I worked in college health, we received lots of questions, and a few requests, for female condoms. They are available at ]]>Planned Parenthood]]> and some drugstores. I believe the company is called Reality.
The benefits for using a female condom were to help women feel empowered by sharing in the responsibility of safer sex practices (without using hormones) by having their own condom! Women who are allergic to latex can use them, and they stay in place whether or not the man has an erection.
