Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for coming to us for help.

If I understand you, you had a period which began on September 29 and with a 28 day menstrual cycle, you had your next period beginning on October 24. Then, 32 days later, you had a menstrual flow on November 24, but it only lasted one day.

With your history of uterine fibroids, and considering that you are in your mid 40s, I think you need to consult your gynecologist. This sudden change in your menstrual cycle could be a sign of perimenopause. The fluctuations in estrogen levels causes irregular menstrual cycles.

Please keep us updated.

Regards,
Maryann
