Guide

Hello sarahl,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community and thank you for asking us for help.

Let me begin by saying that the pull out method is not an effective birth control choice. Secondly, your vagina is inside your body. Some semen may have dropped on your genitalia. There is a slight chance that a sperm could have traveled into your body and into your vagina. Lastly, since you were ovulating at the time, if one sperm did travel into your vagina, pregnancy was possible.

If your next period is late by at least one week, take a pregnancy test.

Regards,
Maryann
