Hi this is rosa im married and hav two-year-old son..recently i have been prescribed femilon for birth control which has to.be taken on the second say of menstrual.cycle..i have used one strip a i.e. 21 tab strip..again aftee mating with my.hub forcely i audenly started bleeding what is the cause of.this pls clear me and also i have a doubt that can i use femilon as i have hypothyroidism..pls kindly clear me with this..

This is rosa..thank you for your pleasing response..i haven't got bleeding before..I have hypothyroidism is it safe to use femilon..kindly clear my doubt.

Thanks for your post.

Have you ever had forceful sex (as you call it) before, that caused bleeding? Rough sex can (sometimes) cause a woman to bleed.

As for Femilon, some women may experience breakthrough bleeding, headaches, weight gain and fluid retention.

As to whether or not you should continue taking it, that is something you should discuss with your doctor.

Thank you mam for your pleasing response..it was not happened before like this..actually i have used femilon without my hub interference..as he wanted another baby whereas i am not at all interested because of my health issues like asthma and hypothyroidism..he is not supporting me in this.. so i have consulted the doc in secret who stays so far from my in law place and took the medication..i am in a problem that i cannot disclose this..so kindly clear me that can a hypothyroid patient use femilon that is all i wantrd to know do the needful.
