last year i had a lletz procedure done, after which sent me into perimenopause.doctors test said levels on rank with menopause, but must wait the 12 months so had periods few and far between, until the 13/5, when my old friend reared his ugly head!!!. i bled for a week, odd to start with as usually only 4 day bleed. my hubby and i had unprotected sex, and at only 3 weeks ppd i have nausea, headaches, lower pelvic and back pain, bloating and a watery mouth with the need to feed on honeycomb!!!, a slight change to my breast buds, but nothing drastic in that area, to early to test for pregnancy, but is it my imigination or is this a very real chance... or are these still signs of peri meno?

Hi nessi,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  It can very well be signs of perimenopause.  But if you had unprotected sex, you might also be pregnant.  You might want to take a pregnancy test, if you are having symptoms already or see a doctor.

Best,

Daisy
