Hello Anonymous,
Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for coming to us with your concern.
Prior to this, were your menstrual cycles regular? How old are you? Do you have any medical conditions, such as a thyroid disorder?
Depending on your age, this recent change could be an early sign of perimenopause. Fluctuations in estrogen levels lead to irregular menstrual cycles.
A hormonal imbalance can cause irregular periods.
I suggest you contact your gynecologist. Frequent and prolonged vaginal bleeding can lead to anemia because of blood loss.
