my girlfriend got her period last month and bled for 5 days and she bled through a tampon too was there a chance it was implantation bleeding?

This was her period and not implantation bleeding.
Implantation bleeding sometimes happens when the embryo implants in the lining of the uterus.
It is pink or brown spotting that happens about six to 12 days following conception. Unlike a period, it never increases to a flow and lasts about two to three days.
