I've only been on birth control a little over 3 wks and missed a pill? I had sex a couple days ago. Can I still get pregnant?

Welcome to EmpowHER and thank you for reaching out to us with your question.

Missing only one pill does not put you at high risk. However when you miss the dose makes a big difference. Never go seven consecutive days without an active pill. Always make up for the missed dose as soon as you can, and that means taking two pills in one day.
