Hi, I had protected sex with an accident during 14th day of my menstrual cycle(I assume that is +- my ovulations day). I took postinor 2 according the instructions half an hour later. I have read that postinor does not prevent pregnancy when taken after ovulation. Is it true? How is your experience? Thank you for answering :)

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Postinor 2 works to prevent pregnancy by primarily preventing ovulation. It also causes changes in the cervical mucus to make it difficult for sperm to reach and fertilize the released egg.

Regards,
Maryann
