Q:

Is there a chance that I am pregnant?

Hi. I’m 15, and quite frankly I’ve been freaking out for 3 weeks straight. 3 weeks and a day ago, my boyfriend and I were messing around. (Note: We did not have sex i.e. I am a virgin) However, I was concerned that his semen may have gone near my vagina, and I was also concerned that (even though he swore that there wasn’t any) he might have had semen on his fingers when he was touching my vagina. In order to prevent any pregnancy from happening, I took an EllaOne pill approximately 75 hours after the incident as it can be used up to 120 hours post-intercourse. My period was due on 12th September, and it has not come despite the date now being 23rd September. I used a Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test a week after my period was due, and it came back negative. Yet, I am so afraid that I am pregnant, and I cannot tell my parents, for they’d be so angry. Also, it is very difficult for me to seek professional help without them knowing.
Could anyone offer any advice on my situation? Thank you.

Hello. Thank you for posting.

Until you educate yourself (more) about sex and feel secure in what you are doing, it's probably wise not to engage in any more sexually activities. If and when you do, insist your partner use protection.

ECP can cause a delay in your period, so you will need to wait it out. For future, ECP should only be used in emergencies like contraception failure or unprotected, unplanned sex.
