VIDEO - HERSTORY: Rose Shares Her Alternative To Pain Medication

March 19, 2009 - 4:52pm 406 reads 0 comments

Allergic to pain medication, Rose shares how she found an alternative way to manage her pain at CTCA.

Rose:
When I had my mastectomy, I was on medication that caused an allergic reaction and I couldn’t take any strong type of pain medicine. So I was helped with the mind-body with the meditative tapes and those helped me get through those periods. And my husband kept me well supplied with batteries, but I was grateful to have that experience because without their guided imagery I don’t think I would have gotten through, and I had no other recourse because I couldn’t take that medication.
