Terrece:
As soon as I found out that I had breast cancer, my first thought was my children, I didn’t want to leave them. And my second thought was that I wasn’t going to blame God because life happens and things happen for a reason and so I tried to take a positive stab at it right away.
I knew nothing about breast cancer because it wasn’t in my family. So I went on the Internet and used up all of my energy to research and learn more, knowledge to empower myself and to help understand what I was going through and take the panic part out of it.
I wanted to have a level head and I knew that being on the Internet learning about breast cancer and having more knowledge would help that.
