I recently asked for a copy of an ultrasound I had a couple of months back. I wanted a copy because I am going to show the results to another doctor. I had two doctors look at my results already and neither of them told me I had three ovarian cysts in my right ovary. I think this is pretty important information & I am amazed that I did not hear about this until now.

I had the ultrasound to research a fibroid issue, so the results I received just focused on that. Still, it would have been good to know that I had ovarian cysts, too. I have not asked the doctors. I will ask my new doctor next time I see him. I am seeing a naturopathic doctor right now and will talk with her about it (she hasn't seen these results, yet).

Lowengail, that's really disturbing. Will you, or have you, returned to either of those doctors for an explanation? I for one would be fascinated to hear what it is.
I am assuming that you had the ultrasound due to a specific issue, maybe with pain or with your cycle, or endometriosis? Was your original issue addressed? Could the cysts be contributors to that original issue?

I just received the copy of my ultrasound (got the ultrasound a while ago) results this week. It says I have three ovarian cysts. Both doctor's saw this report and neither of them mentioned this fact to me. I assume they are since they didn't mention them to me.

Lowengail,
I'm confused: how do you know that you have three ovarian cysts if neither of your doctors told you?? (Sorry if I did not read your message correctly). I assume the cysts are benign?
