I am a person who is positively against the HPV vaccinations. These vaccinations were given a quick approval process through the FDA and I feel they are not safe and the long term effects of these vaccinations will not be know for years. Children at the age of 9 years old are being given this vaccination. They have not even enter puberty. What kind of reproductive problems could be caused by this vaccination. Please use the link I have attacked to see prove that the FDA gives drug makers the right to kill as young women have already died from having this vaccination.

Last evening on a local news channel here in Boston they ran a story about having boys be given the HPV vaccination. I was aware that boys are in fact the carries of this cancer virus so I find it quite interesting that they are just now doing a clinical trail on boys.
The mother's they interviewed said they were afraid of the vaccination and would not have their boys vaccinated.
Let's all stand by and see how fast this vaccination is approved for the use in boys.
Remember there have been no studies on the long term effect of this vaccination and absolutely no studies on the effect this vaccination may have on fertility.
Once again, the pharmacutical companies have been able to market a vaccination that is not properly tested and our children are the potential victims of the short and long term side effects of this vaccination.

About four years ago while having lunch in Boston, I ended up in a conversation with the CFO of a major pharmaceutical company. My concern at that time was the untimely and tragic deaths that were occurring in teenagers as a result of the side effect of antidepressant medication that were never disclosed. During the conversation, he told me that it cost 600 million dollar to develop a drug. He told me that drugs are developed for the majority of the population. He told me that some people don't do well on the drugs and they know that but as long as the drugs help majority of the population then according to him that's just part of life. I asked him how he would feel if he had a teenager who had taken their life as a result of the antidepressants drugs. I did not get an answer.
Do you know that the pharmaceutical companies in this country make trillions of dollars. Bayer developed a drug last year, a drug that was pulled of the market, whose profits would have been a billion dollars. That's one drug.
We are all experiencing the effect of what is happening as a result of the banking scandal that has threatened our economy. When there is huge money to be made, everyone needs to be ware. There was corruption taking place in our banking system which is causing our current economic nightmare. Do you remember back during the savings and loan scandal in the late eighties the FDIC went state by state a closed banks because of the greed that lead to that scandal. It's a similar story from the same industry. Pharmaceutical companies are no different than banks. Greed breeds corruption in any industry.
Did you know that the approval board for the FDA heads of pharmaceutical companies sitting on it.
In 1995, there was legislation passed to force the pharmaceutical companies to use woman in clinical trails. I kid around by saying the studies for the drugs and vaccines that are marketed toward women and children had been done on men, monkeys and mice. Unfortunately, I am far off the mark.
I am a very outspoken women when it comes to the drug companies and the clinical trail process which is used to get drugs approved especially when it comes to drugs and vaccinates that harm women and children because the drugs are rushed to the marketplace without proper testing. The FDA is responsible for the approval of these drugs.
Women have very complex reproductive systems. Why did they not develop this vaccination for the boys and men. I understand they are considering that currently. Did I hear men are the carries of this virus?
The death of one young women from this vaccination is one death too many for me. When someone is given a vaccination and they die, its tragic. The drugs companies will do anything and everything to prove their vaccination are not at cause when deaths occur. They have millions upon millions of dollars invest in this vaccination. Drug and vaccination development is highly competitive and hugely profitable business. There is a big difference between studies being done with federal grants by non profit organizations, hospitals and universities than those studies being done by the drug companies who fund their studies with there own money.
The FDA is responsible for making certain that the drugs and vaccinations they approve are safe. Maybe I was a bit too harsh on the FDA because it has become very clear in recent years that the drug companies are not reporting adverse events during their clinical trails to the FDA. I think what people need to understand is that pharmaceutical companies are in business to make a profit and their profits are huge. They develop drugs and vaccines to treat disease and disorder not to find cures or causes.
I will end by telling you that during the majority of clinical trails done for drugs individuals do as well taking the placebo, sugar pills, as those who are taking the drugs. When you fill your next prescription you'll find a small piece of paper folded up into a tiny packet with your medication. If you unfold that piece of paper, you will discover that it has the clinical trail results for the drugs. You may just find out that taking a sugar would provide you with the same benefit as the drugs.
Be well. The tide is about to change.

Sheila, I agree that caution is certainly deserved here. The FDA doesn't have the most sparkling track record when it comes to drugs that have been approved quickly or without enough trials.
That said, I did follow your link and found that:
-More than 16 million doses of the vaccine have been given, as of June 30 of this year;
-Of those, there were just under 10,000 reports of adverse effects. That's 1 in 1,600.
-Of those 10,000 adverse affects, 94% were considered non-serious events. That leaves about 600 events considered serious.
-The serious events included death and Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), a rare neurological disorder that causes muscle weakness.
-There were 20 deaths. That's one in 800,000 who received the vaccine. Though the cause of death was not always determined to be the vaccine; in cases where autopsy, death certificate and medical records were available, there were causes of death other than the vaccine.
I have no links to any governmental agency and I have no links to any medical or pharmaceutical agency in any way. In fact I agree with you that even 20 deaths is way too many, for any reason. But many medical treatments today have even higher risks, and with a doctor's advice, they are still proper treatment for some individuals. While I totally agree that medical testing should be more thorough and that medical approval of drugs sometimes seems way too fast, saying the FDA "gives drug makers the right to kill" seems just a little harsh.
