I am newly married, in my 40's with 2 kids. I met my husband just about a year ago. From the beginning, I realized he has a healthy appetite for sex. And my sex life increased drastically upon meeting him, but since the beginning I have been plagued with continuos BV. The first few times I went to the Dr. and was treated. At one point the medication was in pill form, there was a mistake in the amount of pills dispensed and i was given way too many pills for what the script was written for, so he treated himself thinking that he may be the culprit to the problem. Of course symptoms would clear up and go away while on the medication. But would always return within 30 days upon completion of the meds. During our dating phase I discovered that he had cheated on his ex, which he admits to (because she was cheating on him) was his reasoning. He is unaware that I know he cheated on her on their wedding day. Since meeting each other he has never stayed out and is home every night. He never goes out without me, we are always together other then when we have to work. He works in the medical field and works day work 7-3 but at times he will "stay to finish his case" or pulls a 11pm to 7 am and sometimes I go with him on the 11-7. I guess what I'm trying to get at is: I can't figure out why I continue to have these reoccurring bouts, and it's making me think things I don't want to think. Then I just found out that the symptoms for "trick" and BV are very similar and can be mistaken. My husband says it's too much "protein" but it's driving me crazy. Just not sure anymore.
