Dr. Raczkowski shares how he can be contacted with questions regarding minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Raczkowski:
The usual way that patients contact us because of their interest in having a minimally invasive procedure done are many. One is the website, the Banner Health website which will direct them to minimally invasive robotic surgery. There’s a lot of excellent videos and explanations there. That site and Banner Hospital will direct them to our office where our staff, which is very experienced at explaining this procedure to patients over the phone so they have an idea of what we are talking about before they want to come in and see us.

When they do come and see us, we are very happy to sit down and explain the benefits, the risks, whether they are an acceptable candidate for this, whether they need a more traditional procedure and then, depending upon those patient’s wishes, we can decide what the proper procedure for them is.

About Dr. Raczkowski, M.D.:
Dr. Allen Raczkowski, certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, leads the robotic heart surgery program at Banner Heart Hospital.
