Dr. Williams:
It’s very unlikely that treatment for early endometrial cancer would cause sexual dysfunction. A simple hysterectomy, along with the lymph node dissection, is often all that’s required for treatment. When women receive radiation therapy there can sometimes be some scarring of the vagina, which can result in some dryness, but again, that’s something that is very easily treated.
