VIDEO: Kristin Stiles Green, N.D. - Cancer Treatment And Naturopathic Medicine, How Are They Integrated?

March 20, 2009 - 1:31pm 596 reads 0 comments

Kristin Stiles Green, N.D. describes how CTCA integrates naturopathic medicine into cancer treatment plans.

Kristin Stiles Green, N.D.:
The way the naturopathic medicine integrates with conventional cancer care here in the most simplest aspect is we meet three times a week as care providers and every discipline of the hospital is present at these meetings talking about all the patients who are currently in-house, under our care, and what we we’re doing to manage their treatment plans.

So that’s a perfect opportunity for us to talk about what’s going on currently with that patient from the medical oncology perspective, from the dietician perspective, from the naturopathic perspective, and integrate the care plan so that none of us are duplicating effects and also make sure that we are not doing anything with the patient that might be contraindicated with their treatment here.
