VIDEO: Reverend Percy McCray - Cancer Patients Religious Experiences, How Does CTCA Provide This?

March 20, 2009 - 2:58pm 359 reads 0 comments

Reverend Percy McCray explains how CTCA helps a patient engage in desired religious experiences.

Reverend Percy McCray:
At the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, our focus is to support all patients’ spiritual belief systems. We are not here to denominationally drive anyone into particular theological schools of thought. Our rule here is to nurture and support people and help connect them to the idea of their belief systems and how that works for them. So our intention here is not to create any sense of theological dogma or denominational division as much as, what are some of the core beliefs of their spirituality that we can connect to and those things that we cannot, we are also empowered to go out and reach into the community and find someone of a faith-specific nature that can specifically encourage those individuals.
