Guide

Hi Unknown18,

Thank you for sharing your question with the EmpowHER community.

Having unprotected sex definitely increases your risk for pregnancy. But you indicated that you and your partner used the pull out method. Are you not comfortable that it was done correctly?

The symptoms you are experiencing could be due to hormone imbalance. A lot of your symptoms could be menstrual or PMS related, but since you did have unprotected sex, I see why you are worrying.

Rather than worry yourself sick. Take a home pregnancy test to see where you stand.

In the meantime, review the below information so you can be better prepared in the future: Birth Control Options

I hope this helps.

Be well,

~Gillette
