I took one pill for the postinor 2 then had sex and took the other pill into the 13th hour. Am I safe?

Guide

Hello, Bad. Thank you for writing.

Emergency contraceptives are up to 95% effective when taken as prescribed within the first 24 hours and up to 90% effective if taken within 72 hours. So the risk is small.  ECP should be used for emergencies and not as a regular method of birth control. Be sure to read the information that comes with the pills so you know what to expect.

best,

Helena
