I am 26 years old and have been trying to get pregnant for 3 years now. I had a miscarriage in 2006 and my periods have been very irregular since then. Some months I don't even have one. What can I do?

I suggest that you talk with your gynecologist about the possibility of infertility. It is recommended that women under 30 should generally try to get pregnant on their own for 1 year before seeking testing. Infertility testing involves a complete medical history and physical examination of both partners. For women, testing includes blood tests to check hormone levels. a pelvic ultrasound and thyroid function test, to name a few. This is definitely a situation that requires medical attention.

I would do your research regarding a good cleanse before trying to get pregnant again. Also, talk to your OB. There is a great book called "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" that helps women discover how their cycles work. Keep the faith and try to learn as muh as you can!
