I performed intercorse during the time i should have been in ovulation 13 days ago. I was very late for my period i was suposed to have eairler last week. I started my "period" today and it feels different then my normal periods. Cramping is different as well as new found back pain and sevear pain just over in that aria (stomach down). Im not sure if im passing (very very minimal) tissue or really weird blood clots! Is that even possible for (posibly) being pregnant 2 weeks? I just feel strange and wanted to get your input on if you think this seems like a really late period or miscarrage.

Hi Anon -

It sounds like you've been through a lot and your concern is understandable. While we can't determine if you have had a miscarriage or not, we can tell you the signs of one include mild to severe cramps, back pain, white-pink mucus, passing tissue or clot-like material and sometimes nausea and vomiting.

There's no way to stop a miscarriage from happening once it's started. Since you have had some severe pain it is really important to contact your doctor. If you are having a miscarriage it is vital to be treated to prevent possible hemorrhaging and/or infection.

We hope that helps and you will let us know what you learn when you see your doctor. We wish the best for you.

Regards,

Pam
