Any help for skin that gets sticky when it gets wet?

sticky skin

Three nights ago I noticed that after washing my hands they felt really sticky, almost like when you use the last paper towel on the roll and you get that glue residue on your hands. However, it wasn't the last paper towel so I figured maybe the liquid soap was really old and doing funky things so I rewashed with dish soap and again grabbed a paper towel. Once again, my hands got sticky as I dried them off. Thinking now that there was something wrong with these paper towels, I washed again and this time dried with a hand towel only to yet again find my hands sticky as they dried off. The stickiness only lasts 30-60 seconds, until the skin completely dries, but during that in-between time of soaking wet and totally dry they feel very tacky to the touch and my fingers will actually stick to each other.

The next day when I took a shower I noticed that the water was beading up on the skin on my arms. Sure enough, when I dried off afterwards I found that all of my skin is tacky to the thouch until it is completely air dried.

Today I shaved my legs and my skin felt almost like it had a layer of wax on it that kept catching the razor. The skin on my hands seems to be getting more sticky when they get wet. Water continues to bead on my skin when it gets wet. I asked my children if they can feel that my skin is sticky to the touch and they said yes.

This is affecting all of my skin now, including my face. I always put a moisturizer on my face after washing and it does not feel like my skin is absorbing it now, it just feels heavy and greasy since the lotion just sits there on top. I also tried putting lotion on my hands and it was not absorbed at all, just left my hands feeling very slimy and greasy so I wiped it off.

Has anyone ever experienced anything like this or have any suggestions for what might be causing it? Thanks for any held you can give.

while diet of course does impact and make changes to your health, i firmly believe that the root cause of this is not diet/gmo as i have a very natural/organic and healthy diet. =\

Grasping at straws I guess. I started with this condition about 12-13 years ago about the time I started using Splenda, they say diabetics have this condition, Drs give a lot of excuses one of which is excessive sugar in your system but most diabetics use artificial sweeteners. Crazy, I am sticking to the mouse as I type this and it isn't even hot out. Wish we could come up with something that we all use or do that could be causing it.

If in fact you have Morgellons, it is not believed to be contagious. Some people have a hard time understanding this since many families get sick at the same time. However, families that live together experience the same environment. For example, mosquitos transmit lyme and other biting insects transmit lyme. If all were bitten, then all can have lyme. If all exacerbated their immunity via vaccines, GMO food, Chemicals, stress, overweight, etc., then all will likely have symptoms. Studies show that those with Morgellons have seriously deficient GUT and Skin flora, and that fact caused teh body to be vulnerable tyo all kinds of skin infections including myasis. Dr. Middleveen and BMC laboratories 2015 peer reviewed study is all a doctor needs to treat. In my experience, daily baths for at least 30 minutes once or twice a day in very salty water with apple cider vinegar helped to breakdown this substance. After bath the lauric acid from COCONUT OIL really helped break it down further. When this film is removed from skin and pores, often the Morgellons fibers, or specks (feels like sand) in various colors are present. The skin can also appear to look like it has glitter on it. The fibers look like short or long hair in white or black, or can literally look like plastic strands in colors of blue, green, white, black, or red. . The body manufactures this via melanin, keratin system.
Do you feel like you have brain fog? Like your not 100% present, or floating like your in a dream? Morgellons is systemic and infects the brain too. I am living proof that you can heal. Don;t believe the BS that says theirs no cure. There is no documented cure and their are many ways to heal. Keep seeking answers. L

I too have experienced most of these symptoms ~ discovered salt, lemon essential oil and apple cider vinegar works great for getting this stuff off and out of tissues ~ including weak dilutions in a netti pot to get into the head ~then re hydrate skin with coconut or olive oil ~ smoothies with same stuff and lots of fulvic vitamins and minerals cleans the insides and hydrates tissues that way ~ oral care same thing ~ dry brush before shower, bath, or sauna for stimulating effects ~ good luck!!

Grateful for your suggestions. Could you please be more specific regarding the bath solution: how much of each ingredient and what kind of salt?
Thanks.

I have been using a bowl of water while in sauna to wash skin while sweating. In the bowl I put a quart of water + 1 or 2 TBLSP apple cider vinegar + 1 TSP of quality sea salt + 3-4 drops lemon essential oil. In the beginning I changed water and cloth 3 times it got so dark and foamy ~ can use the bowl application in a hot shower too. In bath tub I would put a good handful or two of salt and a half to full cup of apple cider vinegar ~ go easy on essential oils in hot water ~ a drop or two will do ~ soak and scrub gently with skin brush or clean wash cloth ~ use as a final rinse in hair ~ gargle and rinse mouth also :)

I felt and saw immediate results. Had a daily practice going for a couple of weeks ~ able to cut back to saunas every other day now. I have the good fortune of having a far infrared sauna at home and very grateful. Also feel pretty good afterwards ~ sticky seems to be going away and the slick gritty powder that sometime accompanies it is too ~ water is still shades of grey but that's an improvement! The glitter effect is still with me but much less as well. I've been making a hydrating drink with one whole organic lemon with pith every day blended well with coconut milk and coconut water mixed with a purified water source + fulvic minerals and a teaspoon of salt ~ if you like spice ~ I like to add cayenne or fresh pepper to it. Kinda refreshing ~ and replenishing after sweating heavily in sauna. Makes about 32oz. and sometimes I keep diluting it with water and aloe Vera juice so it makes a double batch :) lemon water by itself is very cleansing and hydrating. Have found something that works for me and hope you too can find it useful in an application that fits into your lifestyle ~ the skin is a major eliminative organ and our first and last line of defense :)

Could you share info on your far infrared sauna: where you purchased and cost?

The theory on the far infrared rays is that they penetrate deeper into the tissue at lower temperatures ~ allowing the body to sweat out both water and fat soluble toxins. I have a "Heavenly Heat" brand sauna cabinet which is made for the environmently sensitive. Top of the line in quality all around ~ I was fortunate to buy a used model from a friend who had purchased it as a floor model somewhere at a greatly reduced price ~ as they are pricey ~ check out the website ~ look at the technical specifications and compare. I always went back to this brand and one literally fell into my lap. It has assisted in all kinds of stuff coming out the skin over the years ~ and now with the sticky icky really WIERD stuff ~ especially after adding the wash bowl. About a month into it ~ I'm on top and skin can breathe again ~ I'm a purist out of necessity and have been making my own products and reading labels for 30 years ~ eat organic natural foods and use natural products in all applications of the home ~ detoxification has become a lifestyle for at least the last 12 years. Our environment is extremely challenged and our best defense is our skin ~ I'm a believer in sweating it out!!! ... and remember the wash bowl!!!! Wash sweat off before it dries and goes back in ~ skin a two way street ...
