I am 51 and I discovered a black round mole on my butt. What should I do?

Guide

Hello and thank you for choosing EmpowHer,
Moles that develop suddenly after the age of 20 have more potential of being dangerous.
So keep a sharp eye on it. You need to see a dermatologist if any of these occur:
1. if the mole gets larger diameter than a pencil eraser
2. changes color or has multiple shades of color
3. has a scalloped or poorly defined border
4. if it is painful
You can always get a check up without seeing any of these symptoms just to be on the safe side.
