Hello Anonymous,

Did you make up for the missed doses by taking two pills at a time or did you just start taking them again?

You probably were at a low risk of conceiving. There is a higher risk if you miss seven consecutive doses of active pills.

I wouldn't be concerned unless you do not start your period while taking the inactive pills. If this happens, call your gynecologist as to what to do next.

Hello Anonymous,

Why did you stop taking your birth control pills? Are you trying to conceive?

It is possible that you could be pregnant since you have had unprotected sex and not had a period for two months.

Please contact your gynecologist about this. A blood pregnancy may be suggested.

Hello Anonymous,

Why did you stop taking your birth control pills on December 29?

It appears that you are having very irregular periods with one starting on December 22 ending on December 26 and another period starting on January 1 and ending on January 5.

Do you have a history of irregular menstrual cycles? Were the birth control pills prescribed to regulate your cycle?

I cannot tell you which date to use to calculate your menstrual cycle because I cannot tell from your post how long your menstrual cycle normally is. There was only six days between your December period and your January period.

You need to talk with your gynecologist about this.

Hello Anonymous,

You are most at risk for becoming pregnant if you go seven consecutive days without taking an active, hormone containing pill.

The dark brown spotting could be break through bleeding resulting from missing four birth control pills.

If you do not start your period during the week of inactive pills, repeat the pregnancy test and contact your gynecologist.
