Are you asking for yourself, a friend or family member?
Papillary thyroid cancer is actually the most common type of thyroid cancer, with an excellent prognosis. I unfortunately can not provide a statistic that can directly answer your question, as there are so many other factors that play a role in the survival rate for this cancer, primarily if this cancer has metastasized (spread) to other areas of the body. Other factors include age, health status of individual, current and/or previous treatments, accessibility to health care, etc.
Would you like us to send some information on thyroid cancer in general, including treatment options?
