Hi..my sister aged 34 felt episodes of dizziness with no previous medical history..everyone thought it to be a normal stress issue including the 4 doctors she went for treatment..she was on medication for vitamin D deficits when suddenly a day she started feeling very weak and vomited..we took her to the hospital where the docs revealed that they had no time for surgery as her brain was full of fluid.. the minute she was getting ready to be taken to the operating room she suffered a cardiac arrest which made her condition even worse..she was a CPR survivor which lasted for 20 mins..she suffered a major brain damage and is in vegetative state since past 3 weeks..Pls help me if any of your treatments worked getting your loved ones revive from this state??I really can't get over this

Hello,

I want to say i share your pain. My son has anoxic brain injury due to a foreign aspiration while he was having a snack at the age of 4. He is now 7 and I want to share with you that he has come a long way and has made remarkable progress. My son was in coma and after waking up he enter vegetative state. Doctors told us the worst and even encourage us to disconnect him. They gave us no hope for him, they said he would never breath on his own, eat, walk, run play with his brother and even call me mom. Well I'm please to say that God can make miracles happen and make the impossible possible. My son now walks, runs, eats practically everything that he wants, plays and fights with his brother and he even calls me ma at times. I have a video of him on Youtube. Search for Ikems story: Anoxic Brain Injury and you could witness how much he has accomplish. With faith love and patience anything is possible. We are a very lucky family Ikem has two parents that love him and people that care for him. We continue in our journey seeking new options and treatments for him to continue with his progress. We are hoping to do a stem cell infusion by using his sisters umbilical cord blood. The process its very pricey and we are still waiting for Duke University to response if it is possible. Have hope and believe in ur love one, God Bless

It sounds like what happened to your sister is very similar to my daughter. She was hit by a car and suffered cardiac arrest. Later in the ER again and she lost oxygen. She is minimally conscious or out likely conscious, but has significant brain damage. She follows commands but can't speak or barely move. It has been the most horrifying 6 months of our lives.

MY wife had a sudden sudden cardiac arrest in nov of 2015. Like everyone else they gave up on her 6 days in. And that's when i went to war with the medical industry. Few things I've learned.
•Massage and range of motion together. The muscles are contracted. You must get the muscle soft again.
•Stem cell.
• omaga 3/fish oil, you want high levels of (dha)
•lots of love
•it is very important to keep new things happening. The brain needs stemulation.
•proper diet. Get with a nutritionist.
•get used to people telling you "no"
•I've head St. John's wart.
•T.M.S/ M.e.r.T ( magnetic stemulation)

We have not promis for progression. Doctors already gave up. It's up to us to find a way to give that quality of life they told us our loved ones will never have. Accept your new life. It's a blessing. I've switched my wife over to eastern medicine. She has gone from "brain dead" to "vegitative state" and is not between vegetative state and minimal contious. She is get tube feeds with added fruits veggies and meats. She gets termeric everyday. She gets massage therapy twice a week and PT twice a week. We are on a clinical for Transcranial magnetic stimulation. And I am currently trying to find a good doctor over seas for stemcell. God knew I was a soldier. And that's why you put me with my wife. God will not fix this overnight. But he will ease the pain. He gives me my strength to push as hard as I can. God is great. Find him and don't challange him.

God Bless you on not giving up on your wife. I am going through a similar situation with my dad for 3 months as a result from an asthma attack my dad suffered cardiac arrest. Doctors gave up on him on day 2. Although I like you built a Spiritual Army through prayers refused to give up. My dad is not brain dead but they are insisting he is a vegstable. My fear is the medication he is getting to put him to sleep rather than what you are doing with the omega and fruits. I need help. I pray constantly for God to open the door. I feel your comment has given me another pick me up. I chose not to be annomous because the hospital is treating my dad like he is in his last days and I see his will to live. He and my mom have been together for 52 years. He has and continues to live a Christian life. I need support and resources since recently I was told I need to find him a nursing home but I don't feel he is ready since he has sours/ulcers in his both feet and back and also caught 3 bacterias that although show no sign of growth they are hiding something and recently I was informed by other family patients that their relatives were getting morphine with sedation medication, like end of life treatment.

Thank you. We are doing the same with my mom. Can you share her conditions from the first week. My mom required CPR on thanksgiving of 2016. She had lack of oxygen. Doctors say my mom will not have quality of life. My dad goes everyday to visit my mom. We massage her and are currently renovating to bring her home. She opens her eyes to noises. She gets startled by loud noise. She opens her yes when I quietly go inthe room and grab her hand. She turns her head and makes smirks when she hears talking. It has been 4 months since Thanksgiving. We use frankincense oils to rub on her forehead.

My mother had an anoxic brain injury 11/15/2009. I love God and I believe ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Including a miracle. My mom walked out her house sat up on the stretcher with Emsa after complaining of chest pain. Emsa then began working with her she then went into respiratory and cardiac arrest for over 5minutes . Emsa rushed her to the hospital my dad called me in a frantic state explaining what happened. In disbelief I told him everything was ok he probably mistook the length of time and the care they provided (He frequently confuses things). As we gathered in the hospital the doctor came to meet with us in "the consultation room" after hearing the prognosis my life changed forever in the few seconds it took him to utter those words. However the presence of God came in like a flood bringing peace to us. Afterwards I experienced an upheaval of faith I believed God would perform a miracle. It has been 7 years my mom remains in the same state we brought her home after a lengthy hospital stay. She rarely goes to the hospital or gets sick but she's not changed much. Throughout this process my relationship with God has grown so much. Even though the miracle has not happened yet and even if it never happens I know God loves us and hears our hearts cry out and is with me and my family. My mom isn't speaking, she has a Trach, but when we pray she responds, when hug her and place my cheek next to hers she moves her head towards me I feel it's her way of expressing love and letting me know she's still with me. Sometimes it's tough I've spent my late 20's to 30's with my mom and dad caring for her. With God I receive what I need and find my strength renewed. If I had it to do over I might have made some different decisions but I live with no regrets knowing God is truly in control.
God bless you all
I sincerely pray for your health, strength, well being along with your family member
