I am a first day starter and missed the first pill of my pack (started a day late) I take Yaz. according to the pill pack, it says missing only one in the first week requires no back up protection. At the end of that first week (The day after the last day of withdrawal bleeding) I had unprotected sex, though my partner withdrew. On Tuesday and Wednesday (the sex was on sunday) I missed my pills, and doubled up on Thursday and Friday. What are the chances of pregancy?

Did you take a pill later that night that you had intercourse?
Have you been taking a daily pill since then?
It is hard to say if you became pregnant. If you have been taking your pills as directed and did take a dose later that night, you should be protected.
If you have not been taking your pills at all, and did not take a dose later that night, there is a good chance you did become pregnant.
Reach out to your gynecologist about this.

February 8, 2017 - 4:27amI started taking my pill on the very 1st day of my period and after finishing one pack next day i did not take the pill on second day i.e. tuesday i had unprotected sex. My husband didnt come inside me but then i immediately had taken 2 pills from the new pack . Then next day again i stopped taking pill. On sunday i observed little spotting so i assumed it as my 1st day of period so i started the pill and then the bleeding stopped so i also stopped taking pill and today is wednesday still no bleeding just a little spotting. Is there any possibility of getting pregnant?

Why have you stopped taking your pill? Is this birth control?
The bleeding is probably because you have not taken the pills as directed.
By taking the pill this way, you are not protected, can ovulate and become pregnant if having sex.

My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex on sunday morning, I took my pill as scheduled right after but then forgot to take it on monday morning. Today, tuesday I took both my monday and tuesday pill at my usual time. Is there a chance that I might be pregnant?

So, I had unprotected sex on Sunday and took my pill for that day but then I forgot to take it the next 2 days and didn't get any spotting. On the 3rd day I took two pills (Monday and Tuesday) and now today I'll take the next two (Wednesday and Thursday)... What are my chances of being pregnant?

I usually take my combination pill at 10 PM every night, and I've been very consistent the past 5 months. On the Friday of my second week, I had unprotected sex but he did not ejaculate inside me. I was so tired that night, I vaguely remember taking the pill out of the pack, but I don't have a clear memory of actually swallowing the pill . I checked the next morning (Saturday) and the Friday pill was gone, so I assumed I took it but I'm not 100% sure. I didn't take an extra dose to make up for it and it's been almost a week since then. Is there a chance I could be pregnant?

hi good night i had unprotected sex on the 28th of december i took the pearle contraceptive pill at 9 the same night i took it the following day as well but missed the other day but took it along with another one since i had missed a day right i finished the 17th of this month but on monday i saw a slight bleeding but it was thick then on tuesday i saw slight spotting but nothing ive been feeling abdominal pains tenderness of the breast im wondering how long will my menstrual cycle take to come

I had unprotected sex (1/10) three days before a missed pill(1/13). I took my pills Wednesday Thursday Saturday and Sunday but didn't notice the missed pill until Monday. I experience light bleeding on Monday (1/16) which was 4 days before I should have gotten my period. I had a light bleeding mostly brown discharge from 1/16 to 1/23. If this was my period it should have continued to Thurdsay. What do you think in regards to bring pregnant

Since this light bleeding started four days before you were to have withdrawal bleeding, I think you started early because you missed a dose. I do not think you need to worry that you became pregnant.
But, before starting a new pack, please reach out and speak with your gynecologist. You could take a home pregnancy test first.
For the most accurate result, test in the morning and use the urine when you first wake up.
My concern is the bleeding was light, brown in color and lasted a short time.
