The 2nd one came out 4 1/2 mos. later. all ok she is now 12yrs old. I thank God everytime I think about it. If you think you might be pregnant go to your ob soon and get a full check up.

You're not on your period during pregnancy. Your egg is already fertalized and no other eggs are being produced each month therfore you aren't releasing them. And it's most likely a coincidence that the dates that your bleeding are when you usually get your period. I would suggest that the internal bleeding be monitered by a doctor.

So I am in the healthcare field and technically you don't have a true period while pregnant, however you can bleed like a period and mistake it for a menstral cycle. Either way one wants to look at it you can bleed while pregnant but this is something that NEEDS to be checked out by a Doctor ASAP.

As far as I know it is impossible to get pregnant from the anus. It is possible that while having anal sex pre-ejaculation can leak out from the anus/around the anus and drip down towards the vagina. The sperm can swin from that point into the vagina and the rest is history

My best friend in the world didnt know she was pregnant until she was four months along because she had period-like bleeding everytime her period was due... the fact that she was on the pill the whole time may or may not have been a factor. She said her mother experienced the same thing when pregnant with her brother... bleeding all 9 months of pregnancy when AF was due. The issue isnt whether bleeding is possible during pregnancy but rather if it's considered a period (menstruating) or not. So I'm going to give medical definitions since NOBODY seemed to point out the obvious.
PERIOD
a : a portion of time determined by some recurring phenomenon
b : a single cyclic occurrence of menstruation
So, arguably, a woman could experience a "period" of bleeding each month when AF is due while pregnant, but only by definition A, not B. That is because...
MENSTRUATION
: a discharging of blood, secretions, and tissue debris from the uterus that recurs in NONPREGNANT human and other primate females of breeding age at approximately monthly intervals and that is considered to represent a readjustment of the uterus to the NONPREGNANT state following proliferative changes accompanying the preceding ovulation.

Bleeding during pregnancy could be numerous things: impending miscarrage, cervical bleeding, vaginal bleeding, implantation, and other factors that medical science may not have gotten to yet.
So, in a way, both sides are right. Women can experience a "period" during pregnancy, but it's not the same period as menstruating. Idk if anyone can explain why some women bleed when AF is due during pregnancy, but for the sake of this argument, a woman is not, by definition, menstruating, therefore not having a "period" in that respect.

NOT TRUE!!! Pre Cum has MORE sperm in it per drop than regular ejaculate. Those little swimmers WANT your egg! You get it on your thigh, butt crack anywhere near you Vagina they can and do make it in! And once they get in your Vagina (Virginia is a state) they will have a easy time of getting to their destination so if you are fertile that night, you have a very good chance of getting pregnant! AND even if you put a condom on later with spermicide, there is still a chance that his penis with shove the live sperm from the pre-cum up into your cervix making their trip even easier! Your natural lubricant is thick enough to protect them from the spermicide. So it could happen!
Don't fool around with that stuff if you aren't prepared to be pregnant. It is made to make you pregnant and that's all those little guys want to do. It is their whole life so they are going to be very determined! SO! Use a condom, with spermicide, go on the pill but don't be stupid!

BLEEDING during pregnancy..It can happen and it can happen at the regular time you used to have your period. If you have ANY concerns you need to see a doctor for prenatal care. Anything could cause bleeding from that's just how your body is to an infection that could kill your fetus and maybe even you!!!

For the record, you're not actually having what you people are referring to as a "period" if you are in fact pregnant. It is merely vaginal bleeding and has no relation to the actual menstrual cycle. Many women have some bleeding while they are pregnant, ranging from very light to almost period like.

In the future, I wouldn't refer to it as a period because it can be confusing to those who don't actually know.

If you're so deadset on being able to have your period during pregnancy, then where's your SCIENTIFIC evidence? I see plenty of scientific evidence as to why you can't. Explain to me how it's possible. Go on.

hi,
well I tell one thing you need to see a different doctor he must be stupid because you can not have a period during the time you are pregnant I have watched medical shows and I have done my home work on the subject and I am pregnant right now and I have talked to a lot of doctors and they have all told me the same thing. so you need to get your facts straight because I have heard it in a bunch of different places and talked to tons of doctors and who have you talked to one doctor so what does that tell you, you need to quit being so stubborn headed and listen to people that know what they are talking about. and go see another doctor and ask them, before you get pregnant and think oh my doctor told me it was normal and it turns out not to be and he causes to have miscarriage or something all because you were to stubborn headed and decided to listen to one stupid doctor get a second opinion. stop being hardheaded and stubborn just because you want to be right.....
