Hi I had intercouse with my bf 5 days after my period we use protection an after I took postinor 2 pills beacause I think precum got on my virginia I took one pill a few minutes after an the other 12 hours after that but I am spotting brown an I am getting lower back an belly pains is this normal? I don't want to get pregnant

Postinor 2 contains a man-made form of the hormone progesterone that prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation, if taken in the middle of your menstrual cycle before ovulation. It increases the thickness of your cervical mucus to make it harder for sperm to reach and fertilize a released egg if ovulation has already occurred.
Like all medications, Postinor 2 has side effects. They include nausea, sometimes vomiting. withdrawal bleeding two or three days after taking the pill, next monthly period might be earlier or late than expected, breast tenderness, headache, dizziness, and fatigue.
Please, do not use Postinor 2 or any other emergency contraceptive as regular birth control. For emergency use only.

Hello, please I need your advice on this, I'm suppose to see my period on 25th of this month and I had an unprotected Sex on 18th of the same month and I took postinor2 4hrs after d Sex. I took the 2 postinor2 at once now I'm seeing blood spot but nt heavy at all. I want to know if that means I'm pregnant.? It's just a week now

Postinor 2 can cause changes in the menstrual cycle. This side effect can make your next monthly period start earlier or later than expected. Flow can be lighter or heavier than normal.
Wait and see what happens with the bleeding, if it stops or continues. I think the blood spot is the result of taking Postinor 2 but you can always check with your doctor.

I took postinor 2 three days after my period,I am suppose to get it on 22nd march & it hasn't come,the only thing im experiencing is abdominal pains & brown discharges,please I want to know if I won't menstrate this month , I've taken pregnancy test three times & is negative

Hi good evening. I finished my period on 13th and had sex on 12th but didn't take any drugs then later on 19th by 5:30pm I had sex again but he came inside me then I took postinor 2 on 20th by 11:00am but the problem is I took the two at once..Please am scared can I still get pregnant I haven't had any unusually signs...my menstrual cycle is 28 to 30..

My period ended on 28th February & I had sex on 1st much & I took postnor2 on 2nd much @7:45pm & the next pill on 12hrs later on Thursday morning 7:45am,please I have experienced de side effective of breast tenderness ,abdominal pain but I ddnt vomit, and i have not experienced any vagina bleeding,please could it be that i am pregnant and when should i experience my next menses?

I had sex two days after my period and I took postinor 2 the next day and 24 hours I took the second pill,I experienced breast soreness & tenderness,abdominal pains & some brown things from my vagina lyk blood but I doent flow,it comes like discharge,I heard that I huv to get my period after postino2 but I haven't seen my period anything,could it be that I may be pregnant?I didn't vomit either as a side effect

Postinor 2 works to prevent pregnancy by preventing ovulation. One side effect is changes to the menstrual cycle. Your next monthly period may start earlier or later than expected.
Because you took the pills three days after your period ended, the lining in your uterus had no time to build up again, so you passed any old tissue and blood left from your period. That is what the brown spotting was.
Breast tenderness and lower abdominal pain are two commonly reported side effects of this pill.
Having your next period will confirm that the pill worked and you are not pregnant.

is this safe? how long she should be wait for her period? (postinor effect).
