Hello Anonymous,

If you took Postinor 2 two weeks before ovulation, most likely you did not ovulate. You know it worked if you have vaginal bleeding within three weeks of taking the pill.

You should ovulate the next month. But, the pill can cause a slight delay, not more than five days.

Hello Anonymous,

No, you do not need to take another dose of Postinor 2. You really should be using a form of birth control and not depend on an emergency contraceptive, which should only be used in an emergency situation and not take more than one in a one month period.

Hello, I had unprotected sex at night and took postinor both tabs at once, at 11am the next day then had unprotected sex again at 6pm that very day. Could that interfere with the dosage? Or I dont have to take more?

Hello Anonymous,

Postinor 2, like all emergency contraceptives, prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation. It is intended for emergency situations only. Having unprotected sex again that day did not had no effect on the pill and its effectiveness. Please do not take the pill again.

Hi, I took Postinor 2 roughly around 20-21 hours after having unprotected sex (he didn't insert his ahem inside me, he just rubbed it outside and he didn't ejaculate but he was wet) I feel that my period is coming but it hasn't and I'm really worried that I'll get pregnant. Can someone please help me

Hello Anonymous,

There was no need to take Postinor 2 if thee was no penetration or ejaculation. The hormones in the pill, which work by preventing ovulation, could have caused an upset in the normal hormonal balance.

Relax. You should have vaginal bleeding because you took the pill.

Maryann

Hi, thank you so much for replying, it really means a lot. So I felt like my period came yesterday but when I checked it was actually transparent discharge (I always get this before my period). And when I woke up this morning I had an upset stomach (not pain or anything but just upset) and I felt like vomitting when I kept thinking about getting pregnant. I broke down in tears and I felt better after calming down. Sigh, could I be preganant? I am still a virgin by the way. Please help.

Can someone please reply to my message? After that day I didn't feel nausea or feel like vomitting anymore. But my period hasn't came. Sigh, I really need advice. Please, anyone.
