Hi I had intercouse with my bf 5 days after my period we use protection an after I took postinor 2 pills beacause I think precum got on my virginia I took one pill a few minutes after an the other 12 hours after that but I am spotting brown an I am getting lower back an belly pains is this normal? I don't want to get pregnant

I started using the combination pill on the 12th day of my period "the pill" and I am planning to have sex on the 22nd of this month which will be the 16th day of my period. Is it ok to use postinor-2 as a back up method or will it affect my hormonal balance or have major side effect?

Postinor 2 is most effective in preventing pregnancy if taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse. You did take it later than recommended and this decreases its effectiveness.
How long ago did this happen? Has it been more than a month?
Anonymous, if it has been more than three weeks since you took Postinor 2, then you should test for pregnancy.

All you can do now is wait. If you do not have vaginal bleeding within three weeks of taking Postinor 2, then test for pregnancy.
