Clogged ear with cold. How do I fix it?

I've had a cold for a week now and my right ear has stayed muffled . I tried yawning and chewing gum and all that and it doesn't help. I even did the thing where you plug your nose and lightly blow, but it only affects my left ear, and nothing happens to my right. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Since your ear remained plugged after a cold, it is most likely because of sinus blockage.  In that case, you should try nasal spray. 

I also suggest using ear drops if the problem persists.  If neither of these options works, check out the link below that talks about many different home remedies.
